What is your role at ElderAdo Financial?

I'm a Wealth Management Associate. With a background in public accounting, I bring a different perspective and skill set to the wealth management team. I'm excited to build on my previous experience, learn more about the wealth management industry, and support our team in providing clients with a positive experience.

What do you enjoy most about helping clients?

I enjoy helping simplify financial matters and making life easier for people. In my previous work in tax, I enjoyed working with small business owners and helping them stay organized so they could spend less time worrying about the details. I enjoy being able to take something that can feel complicated or overwhelming and help make the process easier to understand and manage.

What do you enjoy outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my kids and husband. We love camping, being outdoors, and making the most of our time together. I also enjoy staying active, my favorite classes are cycle and Pilates.

What is a value that guides your work?

Transparency and trust are very important to me. I believe people deserve honest communication and to feel comfortable asking questions. I strive to be someone people can rely on and feel comfortable working with.

What is something you are especially passionate about?

I'm passionate about continuous learning and expanding my knowledge, both professionally and in everyday life. I enjoy learning new things, whether it's something that helps me grow in my career or simply something I've always wanted to know how to do.

What is something people may be surprised to learn about you?

Something people may be surprised to learn about me is that most of my accounting experience has been in tax. Although my time working with nonprofit organizations was brief, it left a lasting impression on me. Nonprofits will always have a special place in my heart because I value the meaningful work they do and the impact they have on their communities.
